Savory Heart Pancakes

  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 Tbsp. Cane sugar
  • 4 tsp. Baking powder
  • ½ tsp. Baking soda
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ Cup Vegetable oil, plus more for the skillet
  • 1 ½ Cups a2 Milk® Whole
  • ½ Tsp. Vanilla extract

  1. Heat a heavy, oiled skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the flour, cane sugar, baking powder, soda and salt to a blender and pulse to combine. Add the remaining wet pancake ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a pastry bag with a circular tip. Alternatively, use a large resealable plastic bag and cut one corner to ½ inch.
  4. Working quickly, pipe the batter into the hot skillet to form a small heart shape, about 3 inches wide.
  5. Once the pancake begins to bubble in the center, flip to brown the other side. Repeat for each pancake.
  6. Finish each serving of pancakes with suggested toppings.
