Homemade Yogurt and Granola

Ingredients

  • 5 Cups Old Fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 ½ Cup Raw almonds, chopped
  • ½ Cup Freeze-dried raspberries
  • ½ Cup Freeze-dried blueberries
  • ½ Cup Dried currants
  • ½ Cup Coconut oil
  • ½ Cup Maple syrup
  • ½ Cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1 Batch homemade yogurt made with a2 Milk® 2% Reduced Fat 
Homemade Yogurt and Granola

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, nuts, and fruits.
  3. Separately, whisk together the oil, syrup, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and incorporate.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and press down firmly.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, until crispy and browned.
  7. Set the granola aside to cool completely.
  8. Break the granola into bite-sized pieces and serve with bowls of Homemade Yogurt made with a2 Milk® 2% Reduced Fat.
