a2 Milk® Chocolate

Eggs

3/4 Cup

All-purpose flour

1 Tbsp.

Cane sugar (optional)

¼ Cup

Cocoa powder

½ tsp.

Baking powder

½ tsp.

Ground cinnamon (optional)

1-2 Tbsp.

Butter or margarine, melted

Suggested Toppings

Fresh Cherries or berries

Fresh Mint leaves

Powdered sugar

  1. Place the milk and eggs in a blender.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the next five ingredients.
  3. Add the dry ingredient mixture to the blender and pulse to incorporate.
  4. Heat a waffle iron and melt the butter.
  5. Adding butter to the surface as needed, pour batter into the waffle iron and cook until crisp.
  6. Top the chocolate waffles with cherries and/or berries, mint leaves and powdered sugar. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
