Apple Cobbler Oatmeal

Difficulty: Easy

Preparation: 2 min

Cooking time: 12 min

Servings: 2

  • 2 tsp. Whipped butter
  • 1 Apple (like Gala, Fuji, or Honeycrisp), finely chopped, skin on
  • ½ tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1¾ cup a2 Milk® Whole
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract

  1. Add the butter to a skillet and place over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the chopped apple and cinnamon. Stir to combine and sauté until they are just cooked but still crisp, 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the oats and milk in a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil then lower the heat to a simmer. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until the oatmeal reaches your desired consistency. Stir in the vanilla.
  3. Split the oatmeal between 2 bowls and top each apple cobbler oatmeal with half of the apple-cinnamon mixture.
