Fall-Inspired Overnight Oat Ideas

Crisp leaves crunch beneath your feet. The cool breeze encourages cozy sweaters. And best of all, your pantry is filled with pumpkin, squash, cinnamon, and hot apple cider.  Fall’s flavor is warm, inviting, nostalgic. And we couldn’t be more excited to work these fall flavors into breakfast. Here are fall-inspired overnight oats ideas and recipes that will take you straight to the pumpkin patch.

 

Pecan Pie Overnight Oats

Pecan pie inspired overnight oats can be served as a healthier dessert option. Makes two servings.
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup a2 Milk®
  • Handful of pecans, crushed
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Fall Orchard Overnight Oats

For this fall oat recipe, use Honeycrisp or Fuji apples for crunch; Granny Smith apples for tartness. Makes two servings.
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup a2 Milk®
  • 1 small apple, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar

Pure Pumpkin Overnight Oats

Use leftover pumpkin puree or make a large batch of these overnight oats. Makes two servings.
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup a2 Milk®
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. sugar (or 1 tsp. stevia or Splenda)

Sea Salt Caramel Overnight Oats

This sweet n’ salty fall oat recipe is perfect as a dessert! Makes two servings.
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup a2 Milk®
  • ½ cup caramel bits
  • ½ cup crushed pretzels

Honeyed Pear Overnight Oats

Utilize pears and honey for a stellar, unique combination. Makes two servings.
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup a2 Milk®
  • 1 pear sliced, either Bartlett or Comice
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • Small handful slivered almonds

Directions for all Fall Overnight Oat Ideas

 

  • Add rolled oats into container of choice
  • Pour in milk until oats are completely covered
  • Add seasoning, fruit, and sweeteners
  • Refrigerate overnight, at least eight hours
  • For best results, add nuts just before eating for a crunchy bite

Notes

If you add chia seeds or flax to your oats, add extra milk as both of these superfoods soak up 3x the liquid.

For all recipes, we use rolled oats and a2 Milk® 2% Reduced Fat Milk. If you’d like richer and heartier overnight oats, you can also use a2 Milk® Whole Milk.
